Caroline A. Zaltron is from Brazil where she received her Bachelor's in Fashion Design at UNISINOS. She is interested in mythology and history, and her bachelor thesis focused on the Valkyries myth from Norse Mythology. After graduating, she worked on a TV show called “The Blessing” for Canal Brasil in Porto Alegre, Brazil.

Caroline is an MFA in Design & Technology student focusing on costume design. She last worked as a costume and Makeup designer for Señorita Mariposa at Stages Theatre Company, Fucking A at the University of Minnesota Theatre and Dance and Alice by Heart for the Roseville Area High School. Previously, she designed Pearl Fishers and Maria Stuarta apprentice scenes at The Santa Fe Opera in New Mexico, She Kills monsters, and, Twelfth Night for the Roseville Area High School. At the U of M she designed the production of Silent Sky in the Fall of 2022.

She works as a teaching artist at the University of Minnesota Costume Shop and Roseville Area High School, where she discovered her passion for helping young artists find their voice.
